Welcome to the Hyde Park Central School District Instructional Technology Services Department.

The Technical Services department will provide direction to the district in the following ways: 

• Define the skills that students will need to be competitive and a plan to achieve them
• Define the skills that teachers need to model and the professional development necessary
• Acquire/implement tools necessary to evaluate/improve curriculum instruction and assessment practices
• Acquire/implement tools for developing student skills and allowing teachers to model skills
• Acquire / implement tools necessary to evaluate / improve business processes 

• Support the integration of 21st century technology in teaching and learning
• Provide opportunities for collaboration utilizing the technology infrastructure
• Help establish lines of communication between schools, community, and the world
• Help emphasize global awareness
• Encourage a sense of wonder through the use of technology tools
•  Provide tools to help support experiential learning and differentiated instruction
• Incorporate appropriate use of technology and the development of age-appropriate technological skill
