Math Lab students had an interesting task to do this week - grading their own work!  Students looked first at a "perfect" answer to a problem that they had worked on in a previous class, then looked at six other versions of answers to the same problem.   After discussing the scores they gave, students then had the opportunity to score their own answer to the problem.

There's a new link added to the Links page.  The Khan Academy is an on-line school resource full of videos on many topics;  there are tons of math videos and practice exercises.  If students create an account with the site, they can track their progress and earn badges as they gain proficiency.  This site is definitely worth a look.
