Hi,

I lived most of my life in Poughkeepsie N. Y.  After college I moved to Georgia and started teaching.  I taught for 3 years and then moved back to Poughkeesie because I missed the change of seasons.  I started teaching Home Economics in Hyde Park in 1980 at F.D. Roosevelt High School.  In 2000, I started teaching LAWS at Haviland, and have been here ever since.

I am married to an Adjunct Professor at Marist College and we have 2 sons.  Christopher is a Non-Active Marine, although is is in the Active Reserves.He has served in Iraq and the Pacific Ocean.  He is now attending Dutchess and will transfer to Marist in Jauary.  Cameron is a student at Dutchess Community College.  We have 2 dogs, a Chow mix, Ginny; and a Jack Russel-Corgi mix, Lacey and 1 cat, Pringles.

In my free time, I like to cook, sew, stamp, shop and ride ATV's.
