Welcome to LAWS !  

Did you notice that 7^th graders are currently taking a class titled LAWS? No, it's not a pre-law class, but an acronym that stands for Life And Workforce Skills. This title replaces the two previous classes known as HACS (Home and Career Skills) and Workforce. This full year course is being taught in the 7^th grade.The focus of this class is to learn and apply skills for success in life and the workplace. Topics include career exploration, money management, making good decisions (including peer pressure and bullying), computer skills, proper nutrition, and entrepreneurship.

Students have the opportunity to receive 1/2 unit of high school credit in Introduction to Occupations upon successfully completing the Workforce credit requirements.
