Welcome to third grade in room 15. We will learn many new and exciting things this year and the students will grow in so many ways. It's wonderful to see them come in as second graders and leave as fourth graders. In general, our classroom expectations are that everyone comes ready to learn every day, does his or her best every day and treats classmates the way he or she would like to be treated. Our school character education program is a big part of our classroom expectations. Students are also expected to read every day; time is given in the classroom and they should read every night at home, as well. Third Grade Classroom Supplies: Plastic Pencil Box Scissors (Fiskars for Kids Pointy Tip are best) Twenty-four #2 pencils (unsharpened) Crayons (no more than 24) or colored pencils One 4-oz. bottle of white glue 12 eraser caps Five pocket folders (plastic is best) Four marble composition books, any color Three small glue sticks One highlighter (any color) Markers (no more than 12) One box of tissues No binders, please. Remember to label all supplies.
